Housing Action Southwark and Lambeth (HASL) only exists because members volunteer their time. Our group has grown rapidly in recent years and we always welcome new supporters!
The most important part of sustaining HASL is for people to be actively involved in whatever way they can! But if you are time poor but money rich, please consider making a regular standing order to HASL. We normally ask for a monthly donation of £4, because this means we do not have to charge our members (who are on low incomes) any membership fees. It also allows us to pay our basic running costs in a sustainable way.
With our group growing and costs rising we really appreciate any new regular donations, as they really help the group run smoothly without us having to worry about how we will pay for the next meeting.
Donations pay for meeting room hire which is currently increasing with rising rents and because our growing group no longer fits in our regular venues. The donations also pay for refreshments at the meetings, kids activities, printing materials and other regular costs.
How to make a money donation
If you’d like to make a donation, the most sustainable way for us is receiving a regular, monthly standing order. If you can do this then please email us at haslfinance@gmail.com and we will send you the details to set this up.
