Housing Action Southwark and Lambeth (HASL) only exists because of the people living locally who volunteer their time. Our group is slowly growing and we always welcome and encourage people to come and get involved!
Maybe you have your own housing problem, maybe you are angry and frustrated in general about the state of housing and the difficulties we face in securing decent, stable, safe and affordable places to live, or perhaps you just want to help support and grow a strong network of people who can support each other with our housing and welfare issues. Either way, HASL is a great group to join, make new friends, and discuss and plan ways to fight for better standards of living for us all!
The most important part of sustaining HASL is for people to be actively involved – in whatever way they can! Whether that’s coming along to meetings, being a buddy at the housing office, helping out with our lunch clubs or, if you are time poor but money rich, considering making a money donation to HASL (part of the London Coalition Against Poverty).
Money donations we help us to hire rooms for our meetings and lunch clubs, run the lunch clubs, print our regular HASL information leaflets and rights based leaflets, and lots of other worthwhile things!
How to make a money donation
If you’d like to make a donation, you can donate to our Paypal here – this account is linked to the main London Coalition Against Poverty bank account, of which HASL is a member group. Or, please drop us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for any donations you make to us!
